I saw the first part of the series this weekend. And you know, I think it's got good goals, and was well told on many levels, but I was disappointed by how much the story was told as if it was a story only about men. Women were constantly in the background, while two-spirit people were completely invisible.
To be fair, the narrators/storytellers/historians represented a mix of genders, but the characters of the past were mostly men. What do you make of this?
